Green-a-Colada Smoothie

This is the most refreshing smoothie for a summer day or any day. I've always loved a good pina colada, but this one is good for you and tastes great. My post-workout smoothie is filled with protein, fiber, and a little healthy fat to keep you feeling full.


• To help my muscles recover faster I use one scoop of protein- my plant-based favorites are Tone It Up, Four Sigmatic with immune-supporting mushrooms or 310 Nutrition.

Prebiotic fiber feeds the beneficial bacteria in your gut to keep your microbiome thriving. It's unflavored and mixes easily MCT oil for an instant source of energy. MCT oil is flavorless and helps control cravings and improves cognitive performance to keep you sharp




 

1 cup vanilla unsweetened coconut milk (I like So Delicious)

1 handful baby spinach (optional, but a great way to add those leafy greens)

1 c frozen pineapple

1 frozen banana

1 scoop plant-based protein powder (Tone It Up Vanilla is my favorite)

1 scoop greens powder (optional)

1 tsp MCT oil

1 scoop prebiotic fiber (I like Bulletproof)


Add all the ingredients directly to the blender and blend on high.
