This is the most refreshing smoothie for a summer day or any day. I've always loved a good pina colada, but this one is good for you and tastes great. My post-workout smoothie is filled with protein, fiber, and a little healthy fat to keep you feeling full.
• To help my muscles recover faster I use one scoop of protein- my plant-based favorites are Tone It Up, Four Sigmatic with immune-supporting mushrooms or 310 Nutrition.
• Prebiotic fiber feeds the beneficial bacteria in your gut to keep your microbiome thriving. It's unflavored and mixes easily • MCT oil for an instant source of energy. MCT oil is flavorless and helps control cravings and improves cognitive performance to keep you sharp
1 cup vanilla unsweetened coconut milk (I like So Delicious)
1 handful baby spinach (optional, but a great way to add those leafy greens)
1 c frozen pineapple
1 frozen banana
1 scoop plant-based protein powder (Tone It Up Vanilla is my favorite)
1 scoop greens powder (optional)
1 tsp MCT oil
1 scoop prebiotic fiber (I like Bulletproof)
Add all the ingredients directly to the blender and blend on high.
